BLOOD DONATION CAMP

In connection with "Arogya Rangam" which is one of our priorities regarding public health , we conducted a Blood Donation Camp named "SNEHASONIDAM" ON 18/04/2019 withe co-operation of IMA Thrissur. Almost 100 people turned up and 56 of them donated blood and joined our mission.

KRISHIKOOTTAM

 As a part of Krishikoottam activities , volunteers working at the vegetable garden and collecting the yield.

SKILL TRAINING

On 28th and 29th of March, after the plus one public exams the volunteers got together for Skill Acquisition Training. They learned to make Paper pens, Umbrellas and both coir and cloth mats.
Really a worthy attempt, very useful for future also.

  

YELLOW LINE CAMPAIGN

We gathered on 23.2.2019 at 9 in the morning for the yellow line campaign. We placed the warning board near by the school gate,restricting tobacco 100 mts around the school. Then we started drawing the yellow line on the road, controlling the traffic partially. Near the linewe wrote "ലഹരി നിരോധിത മേഖല ". The public and the drivers co operated with our task very cordially. We hope that as an initial step towards our fight against substance misuse,this activity was a real success.

EXTENDED ACTIVITIES-BIO-DIVERSITY PARK

With the collaborative effort of the volunteers ,  on 11.2 2019 we transformed a waste dumping area into a space suitable for cultivation.We planted tomato, brinjal and chilly saplings. Also prepared flower pots and planted flowery plants and with the waste materials in the compound , we made a flower stand also.This was a combination of Krishikkoottam and Bio-diversity park activities. We really enjoyed the work.

Regular Activity

As a part of regular activity we cleaned almost all the untidy places in our campus on consecutive days from Republic Day onwards till 30 th January, Gandhi Samadhi.

AKSHARADEEPAM -EXTENDED ACTIVITIES

To make our Aksharadeepam activities more meaningful , we distributed Balasahitya Kadhagal,comics,Children"s Digests that we collected from our adopted village ,for the kids of GHSLPS Peringottukara , one of the oldest schools of Kerala. To carry out our mission successfully ,we felt it proper to sow the seed of it in the initial years itself.
